Department of Commerce
Introduction
The Department of Commerce (English Medium) is committed to providing quality education in commerce, accounting, finance, business, and related areas. The programme provides students with a strong foundation in financial accounting, business management, economics, taxation, banking, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical-oriented activities, the department develops students’ analytical, numerical, managerial, communication, and decision-making skills. Seminars, workshops, case studies, presentations, and industry-oriented activities provide students with opportunities to connect academic knowledge with real-world business practices. The department prepares students to pursue higher education and build successful careers in commerce, finance, banking, accounting, business, and entrepreneurship.
